Caseiro House is one of three villas in converted outbuilding of this fabulous estate. The three villas share a luxury swimming pool.

Accommodation

On the first floor of a former outbuilding, Caseiro House overlooks the estate's mature gardens and famous vineyards. The villa's terrace, with outdoor dining furniture, is perfectly situated to make the most of the fabulous views.
This villa is comfortably furnished in a rustic style. The bright, elegant sitting room has ample sofa seating and satellite TV. The charming kitchen is fully equipped and has a table and chairs.
Caseiro House's three bedrooms all have twin beds which are linked to form large double beds. The master bedroom is accessed through a small room, with a further single bed. All of the bedrooms are bright and beautifully decorated. Two bedrooms have direct access to a shared ensuite bathroom. The large family bathroom is traditional is style with a cast iron bath.
There is central heating throughout the house. Extra facilities for children are available upon request (cots, high chairs, etc).

Outside

Caseiro House is surrounded by history and panoramic views. It is located next to a 17th century chapel, the oldest part of the estate.
The villa's large luxury swimming pool, which is surrounded by a beautiful lawned area, is just a short walk from this villa. The pool area is fenced so children can play freely on the lawn. For guests seeking shade, there is an outdoor sitting area under a vine-clad pergola. There is also a barbecue for guests to enjoy.
This villa is ideal for children and there are numerous facilities to keep them entertained, including a climbing frame, trampoline and sand pit in the grounds and farm animals for children to feed.
Adults can benefit from the fact that the Quinta de Santana estate has a working vineyard. Guests are invited to join the owner for a tour of the winery and wine tasting.
These outdoor facilities are shared with other guests staying on the estate.

Overlooking the picturesque village of Gradil, Caseiro House is within walking distance of its small shops and restaurants.
This villa is extremely well located. It is in a tranquil, rural setting, yet only 35 kms north of Lisbon and 25kms to the long, sandy beaches of the west coast of Portugal. The coastal town of Ericeira, famed for its fish and seafood restaurants is around 25 minutes drive away. The fabulous resorts towns of Cascais and Estoril, with beaches with calmer waters, are 45 kms away.
There are many interesting places to visit within an hour's drive of the villa, including the religious shrine at Fatima, the Monastery of Alcobaca, the Monastery of Batalha, the medieval town of Obidos and Sintra with its beautiful Palaces.
