The villas are situated in the extensive grounds of the Manor House, Casa do Arrabalde, and are separated by an old, unused entrance to a small lane behind the property.

Lagar Villa

The front door opens into the living room in which the sofa can be used as a single bed. There is a stone fireplace and a dining area suitable for five persons.

There is also a fitted kitchen with a four burner gas cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The two bedrooms share a bathroom which has a shower over the bath. Both bedrooms have twin beds and, in one of them, a folding cot can be placed for a young child.

Casa da Eira

First floor :

There is a twin bedroom and a separate bathroom which has a shower over the bath.

Ground floor:

Large living room with open fireplace and a dining area suitable for six persons. There is a sofa bed which can be used as a single bed.

Fitted kitchen with a four burner gas cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Both villas have central heating for winter use. There is a supplement payable locally if it is used.

Also in the grounds is a swimming pool which is shared by the two villas. The dimensions of the pool are 10 meters by 5 meters and the depth is from 1.10 metres to 1.80 metres.

It is possible for a family to take both villas, which are adjacent, and have exclusive use of the swimming pool, although the two young children from the main house may come visiting.

It is recommended that the adventurous should try these although many of the dishes are regional and may not be to the taste of visitors from overseas. It is acceptable to order one portion (which is very large) for two persons.
