Quintal dos Pintos is very close to some of the finest beaches in the area such as Praia das Macas and Praia Grande.

Sintra has been classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In years gone by, Sintra was the favoured summer retreat of the kings of Portugal. One of the first sights which will greet you when you enter the town are the unmistakable landmarks of the tall conical chimneys of the National Palace and the glorious Pena Palace.
The lively seaside town of Cascais, with its beautiful sea front and the very ritzy town of Estoril, which has a casino, are approximately 15 kilometers from the house. Also, Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Continental Europe, is 5 kilometers from the property.
The fabulous capital city of Lisbon is just 25 minutes away. This is a very beautiful and interesting city with much to see and do and you should take time to visit Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, Torre de Belem and the Monument to the Discoveries. Another must is at least one tram ride, which can sometimes be a daunting experience as the trams make their way up the very narrow streets and around the very tight corners. The trams will take you to most parts of the city, musts are Alfama, the Castle of St. George, which overlooks the city, and the lively Bairro Alto with its many 'Fado' restaurants. The new marina at Docas also has many restaurants.
For nature lovers, there is also the Sintra/Cascais Natural Park.
