The house is centrally heated to enable all year use and all windows have electrically operated shutters.

There is limited wheelchair access to the ground floor.

The dimensions of the heated pool are 10 by 5 meters with a depth of 1,05 to 2,20 meters.

The garden has been designed to provide interest all year round. To the east of the villa is a pergola which surrounds a delightful courtyard containing orange and lemon trees. Another feature is the small pond and fountain decorated in traditional blue and yellow 'azulejos' tiles. Next to the courtyard there is a formal herb garden where you will find a wide variety of culinary herbs.

To the west of the property, close to the sheltered car park, there are fruit trees including almond, fig, pomegranate, cherry and apple.

The property is a short-drive from Obidos, a charming hill town, with attractive white washed houses dominated by a 12th century Castle.

The two local fishing ports of Peniche and Nazare offer a wide variety of restaurants serving delicious fish specialities.

The excellent Praia d'El Rey golf course is located approximately 30 minutes away by car.

The international airport in Lisbon is approximately a 1 hour drive from Fora da Caixa.
